Ventura Orcas: Unleashing Potential. We are a community-driven basketball team dedicated to nurturing the growth and development of young athletes. Through mentorship, health initiatives, and a passion for the game, we empower individuals to discover their purpose, excel in sports, and thrive in life.
At WHATZ DA COUNT, we are dedicated to raising awareness about sickle cell trait and its potential health risks, particularly in high-risk groups such as military personnel, athletes, and their families. Through education, advocacy, and community engagement, we aim to prevent health complications related to sickle cell trait and promote overall well-being. Our mission is to empower individuals with the knowledge they need to safeguard their health and to foster a deeper understanding of the importance of mental and physical resilience in every community.
We envision a future where sickle cell trait awareness is universal, and every individual has the resources and knowledge to prevent avoidable health risks. By creating partnerships across sports, schools, military organizations, and the public health sector, we aspire to build a healthier, more informed society. Through dialogue and education on self-forgiveness, reconciliation, and mental health, we also aim to nurture stronger families and more connected communities, where everyone feels seen, supported, and equipped to lead healthier lives.
Join us in creating a lasting impact on public health and community well-being. By partnering with WHATZ DA COUNT, your business can help raise awareness about sickle cell trait, fund educational initiatives, and promote health equity. Together, we can leverage the power of sports, community events, and education to foster understanding and prevention. Let’s collaborate to make our communities healthier, stronger, and more resilient. Partner with us today to support life-saving education and contribute to a cause that promotes physical and mental health for families everywhere.
